Rotary Gift of Life has grown from one child back in the late 1970's, whose life was saved, to over 33,000 lives saved. The program is now international, has been climbing in importance like never before. This week, we learned that the program reaches out to have surgeries performed in Gaza, and India. Within months a surgical team is heading to El Salvador. Gift of life teaches/trains doctors and medical professionals on how to perform pediatric micro surgery of heart, in a non-invasive manner. GOL is now in 88 countries.
