Guest Speaker:  Mark Dougherty of PSEGLI discussed Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy

Mark spoke to us about PSEG energy saving programs and ways to lower our energy bill.  Some tips he gave us were; (1) Always look to buy Energy Star labeled products. (2) Consider installing timers or occupancy sensors to turn off lights.  (3) Make sure your refrigerator and freezer seals fit tightly and clean their condenser twice a year.  (4) Consider air drying laundry on an outside line. (5) Run your dishwasher when it is completely full.

PSEG offers a Commercial Efficiency Program to small and medium businesses.  And through December 31, 2015 they are offering Energy Star rebates on eligible Energy Star certified appliance for the kitchen, laundry, room air products and certain pool pumps.

For more information call 1800-692-2626.  Great job Mark!
