 Please keep Warren in our prayers. Warren may have a match!!! People have been volunteering to give platelets and
blood and we will keep you updated. If you want to donate, please call 631-444-3662 to make an appointment, it is
greatly appreciated!!!!
 Gift of Life Host Family needed: Dionit Sahiti is a 9 year old boy from Kosova and he and his mom will need a place to
stay from Sept 22 to about 3 or four weeks. Please let Bob Nathan know if you can open your home for this little boy ;-)
 Karen Moss and Mary Chinnici went school supply shopping. Thank you Karen and Mary!!! We need book bags and
coats for students. The date to meet at the Amvets to put the supplies together will be announced.
 Don’t forget the Jump for Life event on August 9th – picnic and watch people jump for their lives- I mean the Gift of
Life.
 Fishing from Captree. Joe Perino is trying to put together a fishing trip – please let him know if you are interested. It
promises to be a great time. Date and time to be announced. (tickets are $45 pp)
 Tom Cilmi announced he had success with his annual fundraiser “The Wing Fling.” Three contestants ate as many
chicken wings within three minutes to raise money for a charity of their choice. With 150 people attending they raised
$680 for a local charity. Sounds like a good idea maybe for Rotary. Thank you Tom.
 Thank you Audley for helping with the wine and golf ball tickets and happy dollars.

8-9-14 Gift of Life Jump for Life event starts 10 am Skydive Long Island 400 David Ct Calveton. Raising money for the Gif
of Life children- saving lives! If you cannot jump, can sponsor a jumper, please contact Gabor Karsai at 516-359-8028.
8-11-14 Sunset Cruise -The East Islip Community Chamber of Commerce 2nd annual Sunset Cruise . Will be sailing out
Captree State Park with the Moonchaser with live entertainment. Contact Marissa Barrasso at marissa.eifitness@gmail.com and
cell is 631-877-7787. Cost is $50 for EICC Members, $55 for non-members and $60 if you pay the day of.

9-24-14 Northport VA “Stand Down” for the Homeless Veterans is starts at 10 am to 2 pm if you can help this wonderful
cause please see Bob.
10-27-14 Monday at Racine’s Gala is October 27 at Obsessions on Route 109. Rachel will bring in tickets for anyone who
wishes to attend.
Happy Dollars: Karen Moss was happy for school supply shopping. Jason was happy to be back –working very
hard but he thinks of us often. We think of you too Jason ;-) Tom Cilmi was happy for his Wing Fling and his daughter
graduated graduate school. Rick was happy to be back from vacation. Merri was happy to have her grandchildren visit for a
whole month and Dennis is back working on the Blacklist show. Winsome was happy for our guests. Erin was happy to
announce that she and her hubby are expecting another bundle of joy this January. And they just bought a house.
CONGRATUALTIONS ERIN and family – so much to be happy about ;-) Audley, Dick and Kevin were happy for our guests.
Kathy was happy for the Gift of Life program. Phyllis was happy to be apart of a wonderful organization, that is Rotary.

The almost Golf Ball winner: Cathy and John joined forces and picked a ball that said “you have a ball” – better luck next
time.
