Our general meeting was called to order at 12:15 by President Ryan. Russ Moran lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance and Tom Jones inspired us with a prayer.

Today's guests included: Marissa Barrasso, Owner and Manager of East Islip Fitness along with fitness instructor Joy Walker, Cheryl's daughter Ashley, along with two of her friends, Holly and Kristen, all students of Islip High School
EVERYONE WAS HAPPY to be at the meeting and also HAPPY about the nice weather!! In addition............
TONY was happy that his daughter's lacrosse team got their first win vs Kellenberg!!
DICK was happy to announce the birth of his new grandson....it's his youngest daughter's 2nd child!!
RYAN, and several others, were happy about the good turnout and great fun at the Maxwells fellowship event!!
BOB was happy about his upcoming trip to Arizona to represent NYS in the National Tennis Championships!!
TOM JONES was happy that it was 2 days past April 15th!!!

CONGRATULATIONS to Dick LaBella and family on the birth of his new grandson, Jonathan Alexander Arthur(apologies if I mispelled the name!?)
CONGRATULATIONS to Ashley Goveia and her friends, Holly and Kristen, students of Islip High School.....they decided to organize an Easter Egg Hunt for ISAAC students @ the Wing Elementary School as a Community Service Project....they filled over 700 eggs with candy and the children were also able to take pics with the Easter Bunny, aka our own Tom Licari!!! The children were thrilled and a great time was had by all. WELL DONE GIRLS, WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU!!!
COMMUNITY SERVICE DINNER is rapidly approaching....please get journal ads in immediately and RSVP as well....speak to Eric Buehler!!
At our May 1st meeting, students who attended the RYLA weekend, will be joining us to tell us about their experience!!

GUEST SPEAKER TODAY - Marissa Barasso, who owns and manages East Islip Fitness along with one of her fitness instructors, Joy Walker.....both discussed the importance of fitness and how it contributes to good health....says you must make a plan and start slow....something/anything is better than nothing at all....your routine should consist of flexibility, weight training and cardio....they encouraged us to come and check out the 20,000 sq. ft facility....will allow any rotary member a free 30 day trial membership....ooooh, sounds good to me!! Thank you Marissa and Joy for joining us today!!

Golf Ball Raffle....SUSAN HARVEY held the winning ticket, but she didn't pick the yellow ball 
...instead, She got one that read "You Lose", lol!!!
