Our general meeting was called to order at 12:15 by President Ryan. Merri Ciano lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance and Pastor Mike Staneck inspired us with a prayer.

EVERYONE WAS HAPPY to be at the meeting and also HAPPY about the nice weather!! In addition............
ERIC was happy to see Father John & not have a funeral and happy that his daughter, Emma rocked at her talent show!!!
MERRI was happy about the fact that they'll be putting their boat in the water on May 10th!!
TOM LAWLOR was happy that his wife got a faculty position and St. Joseph's College!!
TOM LICARI was happy to get through the RYLA weekend with NO frozen kids!!
KAREN SOBEL was happy about her upcoming day trip to NYC!!
PASTOR MIKE was happy to have a "C" in place of an "E".....his corrected name tag!!

Lynda Moran also made us aware that The Islip Arts Council is in need of financial support.....PLEASE HELP!!
Tom Licari (aka Papa Bear) spoke about the RYLA weekend.....said it was a great, great weekend!! We're hoping to have some of the students at the May 1st meeting to tell us more about it!

GUEST SPEAKER TODAY - Father John Morrison, a published author and former teacher discussed Les Miserables and the meaning/message it conveys.....he gave mesmerizing presentation.

Wine Raffles - BOTTLE OF WINES were won by Merri Ciano and Joe Perino!!
Golf Ball Raffle....KAREN MOSS held the winning ticket...again, but she didn't pick the yellow ball 
...instead, She got one that read "that's what she said", lol!!!
AMOUNT COLLECTED FOR GOLF BALL RAFFLE: $141.00....omg, the pot stands @ $2338.00.....WOW!!
