The Rotary Club of Islip–Bay Shore unites local business and professional leaders around one shared belief: Service Above Self.

As part of Rotary International’s worldwide network of 1.2 million members in more than 160 countries, we proudly support the Gift of Life program, which has helped save over 50,000 children by providing life‑saving heart surgeries.

Here at home, our focus is on uplifting our Long Island community. We fund scholarships for local high school students, collect food for families and neighborhood pantries, and stay actively involved with the Islip and East Islip Chambers of Commerce and the East Islip School Business Partnership. These partnerships strengthen our community and open doors for students to connect with professionals who can inspire their future.

At heart, we are neighbors and leaders committed to making a meaningful difference in our community and beyond.

Over the years, our club’s calendar has been filled with the kind of hands‑on, neighbor‑helping‑neighbor work Rotary is known for:

  • Gift of Life fundraising and providing host families to house the patient & guardian — supporting children who travel to Long Island for life‑saving cardiac surgery
  • Annual scholarships for graduating seniors at Islip, East Islip and Bay Shore High Schools
  • Camp Pa‑Qua‑Tuck support, helping provide enriching experiences for children with disabilities
  • Thanksgiving basket drives, Food Collections for local pantries, bringing support and joy to local families
  • Winter coat drives, collecting coats, hats, and mittens for families in need
  • Salvation Army bell ringing each holiday season
  • Snapper Derby with the Kiwanis Club of Sayville & Rotary Club of Islip - Bay Shore
  • Support for PolioPlus
  • Provide Students opportunities, helping them explore career pathways, and gain real‑world experience.
