Pledge & Prayer: We thank you Dennis who lead us in the pledge and thank you to Pastor Mike who gave us a
wonderful blessing.
Announcements:
 Warren was in the house!!!! He looked great too ;-) Its always a pleasure to see him.
 Ryan officially handed the Rotary reins over to Tony last night at the Installation Dinner.
THANK YOU Ryan for the wonderful job you did as president this past year!!!
Cheryl presented Ryan with numerous awards such as the New Membership Award, our club placed second in the district
for new members under Ryan’s leadership and was presented with an award of $300. Also Ryan received the Member
Retention Award, our club was #1 in the district! Additionally Cheryl gave Ryan a presidential citation and an award for
helping to promote literacy for the back to school supplies. Great Job!!! And thank you Cheryl for all of your help as well.

Tommy money (Tom Jones) who was comfortable in his own shorts last night

Karen Moss who worked with the interact act club, Thanksgiving baskets and Christmas baskets
Cathy Cooney who worked with the interact act club
Tom Lawler who was a great secretary

And everyone else for making our club more like a family – thank you!!!
 Rotarians of the Year Award went to Merri Ciano and Dennis Ciano who graciously accepted such a wonderful honor.

 Tony is looking forward to new Rotary year with his new board members. He thanked Ryan for being such an
inspirational leader and will have his first board meeting the week of July 10th. Tony is also working on our first club
assembly which he will forward more information about.

Special Guests: We welcomed our honorary members Martha and Ted who we were all happy to see. As a side note Martha is
moving to Pennsylvania on Monday. (Matha’s new email is Marthamcdermott12@gmail.com) We wish her all the best- and a
lifetime of miracles ;-) Also on hand were spouses of Rotarians who we would like to thank in supporting Rotary from behind
the scenes.
A year in pictures: Ryan had put a picture slide together from our past year in Rotary. It includes pictures from the previous
Installation Dinner when Ryan became president, having fun at Tom Lacari’s beach home, the Halloween Party, the
Thanksgiving shopping and basket preparation, the Christmas party and breakfast with Santa, Ringing the bells, St Baldwicks
when Ryan and Pastor Mike shaved their heads for a good cause, A Rotary fellowship at Maxwells, the Community Service
Dinner, the Interact Club coming to our Rotary lunch meeting, the Coat Collection, and we ended the Rotary year with our new
Installation Dinner. We came full circle ;-) All the pictures showed a fun loving bunch that not only enjoyed Rotary but also
enjoyed each other’s company. Thanks to Ryan, we did a lot and had a lot of great times.

7-15-14 (1pm) Golf Outing with Syosset Club at Willow Creek Golf Club in Mt. Sinai. Please see Kevin. We are all invited to
join the Babylon club at the fundraiser for W.a.v.e.s., Wheelchairs and Veterans Enjoying Summer, Inc. A not-for-profit
501(3)c organization helping adults and children enjoy fishing and sightseeing on the Great South Bay. Call for more

Everyone was drinking and making merry… but really only Merri does merry best – ha ha ;-)
