Guest Speakers: District Governor Anthony Civitano
We welcomed Tony who is a former Marine, fitness director and is a Knight at the Knights of Columbus. He has extensive charity passions that include caring for Veterans. It is Tony’s hope that each club will nominate 1 person to representative as a Veteran’s Chairperson. They would then go out to Veterans VFW, Amevets and alike to see how Rotary can help improve their lives. He also hopes to help people achieve their maximum potential in Health & Wellness and make it a Rotary goal. Further, Tony’s goal is to have every Rotarian in every club donate to the Rotary Foundation so that we have 100% participation. Even if every Rotarian donates $1.00 it would still mean we have a 100% participation rate.
It is Tony’s hope to see as many Rotarians as possible at this upcoming District Conference in April 2015 at Mystic seaport. Family Fun will be the theme. He was kind enough to present us with a District Governor Rotary Flag.
.
Thank you very much Tony. You did a great job!! We look forward to a great Rotary Year with you as our District Leader!!!!
If you would like to be a speaker or know someone else who would, please contact Russell F. Moran |
